The Sunnyvale Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery Center brings together two board-certified orthopedic surgeons under one roof, giving patients across the greater Dallas area access to specialized expertise matched precisely to their condition. Whether you are recovering from a sports injury or facing a joint replacement, our team is built to meet you where you are.
Dr. John Hibbitts, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon fellowship-trained in sports medicine, founded the Center in 2021, drawing on more than 30 years of orthopedic experience to create a patient-first practice focused on total joint replacements and joint preservation surgery. Joined by Dr. Reed Bartz, a fellowship-trained sports medicine and shoulder specialist, the Center now offers a broader, deeper level of orthopedic care to patients throughout Sunnyvale, East Dallas, Mesquite, Garland, Rockwall, and Rowlett.
Together, Drs. Hibbitts and Bartz provide both nonsurgical and surgical solutions for shoulder, knee, hip, and ankle conditions, with each physician leading the cases best matched to their advanced training.
